Much has been written about it and some agencies are already testing with the latest ads that Google has recently rolled out in Beta. At the end of April, Google already announced that it wanted to test with Expanded Text Ads in the Netherlands. At the end of June it will then take effect and we can test as one of the first with the latest development from Google. With the introduction of Expanded Text Ads, Google has implemented the second major change in a short time since the existence of adwords. Earlier this year we already saw the complete Layout change, so we lost the right column and fewer ads were shown on the first page. The second major change particularly affects the size of the text ads. For years we were limited in our texts but that is now over. With Expanded Text Ads, Google offers 47% more space to advertisers to deliver their message.
