Today, the EPA finalized the Clean Power Plan -- the single most important step America has ever taken in the fight against global climate change.

Now the plan moves to the states, where state leaders will determine how best to hit the goals we've set to limit carbon pollution.

Several states and leaders are already making progress -- implementing efficiency standards and investing in clean energy. That deserves our support, because opponents of this plan will be fighting it everywhere they can.

OFA is standing with state leaders who are acting on climate -- add your name in support.

We can't delay taking action on climate change -- it's one of the most pressing issues our nation faces, and it's our responsibility as a country to set an example for the rest of the world.

OFA：Organizing for Action

Organizing for Action (OFA) is a nonprofit 501c4 organization and community organizing project that advocates for the agenda of U.S. President Barack Obama.

The organization is officially non-partisan, but its agenda and policies are strongly allied with the Democratic Party.

It is the successor of Obama's 2012 re-election campaign and of Organizing for America, which itself succeeded Obama's 2008 campaign.

Founded after President Obama's re-election, the group seeks to mobilize supporters in favor of Obama's legislative priorities.

OFA is registered as a 501(c) organization, which may advocate for legislation but is prohibited from specifically supporting political candidates.

OFA is organized as a grassroots organization, with local chapters that decide which issues to address.

　　【环球网报道 记者 王莉兰】据法国国际广播电台8月3日报道，美国总统奥巴马在当地时间8月3日公布“清洁能源计划”、对发电厂碳排放量设限，随后欧盟立即表态，称赞“迈出了积极的一步”。
　　法新社消息称，奥巴马3日公布的对抗气候变化行动计划，提出2030年全美发电厂碳排放量比2005年下降32%的目标。欧盟委员会气候专员米格尔•阿里亚斯•卡涅特(Miguel Arias Canete)表示，这是美国为减少碳排放所进行的“富有诚意”的努力。
　　据英国路透社消息，奥巴马指出，气候变化已构成全球最大威胁。在联合国气候峰会年底在巴黎召开之前，奥巴马宣布对抗气候变化计划。计划目标是2030年全美发电厂的碳排放量比2005年下降32%。这一目标比2014年提出的30%目标又多了2个百分点。
